Webcam at an eagles nest

This is a must see for all! It's amazing how technology has allowed us to witness this.

To relate this to our last lecture....I can understand why people would pay to watch the first film clips of waterfalls!

Oh! This reminds me! NYU has a pair of red-tailed hawks nesting on the 14th floor of their Bobst library. It happens to be the President's window so he allowed NYTime's City Room to set up a cam there. Expected date of hatch is around 4/23.

Update:

Unfortunately, their eggs did not hatch this year. Maybe next year...

Another update!

A baby did hatch! But Violet's leg is tangled in blue plastic and it's causing her leg to swell. Hopefully she'll be able to remove it.
