I found this video on youtube earlier today that I thought relates to Shepard Krech's Ecological Indian: Myth and History. This video was created by www.richiecabohorticulturist.com , a website dedicated to educating to informing people about the dangers of pesticides and chemicals to the environment. I found it interesting that the site chose to use Pocahontas to teach young children about environmental issues. This video clearly shows that there is still a common association between Native Americans and conservation efforts. It supports Krech's claim the idea of the "Ecological Indian" has become the fundamental truth in the American society.
