To relate this to our last lecture....I can understand why people would pay to watch the first film clips of waterfalls!
Oh! This reminds me! NYU has a pair of red-tailed hawks nesting on the 14th floor of their Bobst library. It happens to be the President's window so he allowed NYTime's City Room to set up a cam there. Expected date of hatch is around 4/23.http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/04/06/hawk-cam-live-from-the-nest/
Update:Unfortunately, their eggs did not hatch this year. Maybe next year...http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/04/29/hawk-cam-updates-from-the-nest/
Another update!A baby did hatch! But Violet's leg is tangled in blue plastic and it's causing her leg to swell. Hopefully she'll be able to remove it.http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/04/29/hawk-cam-updates-from-the-nest/?nl=nyregion&emc=ura1
